Privacy Policy

When you use Fuel Miles, you may provide the following information:

• Account information: Your email address, used to create and sign in to your account. If you sign in with Google, your Google account email and name may be used.
• Vehicle information: Details you enter about your vehicles, such as a name, make, model, year, color, fuel type, and starting odometer reading.
• Fuel logs: Date, odometer readings, gallons, price per gallon, total cost, fuel type, station, and any notes you add for each fill-up.
• Maintenance records: Service date, odometer reading, service type, description, cost, shop or mechanic, next-service date or mileage, and notes.
• Trip records: Date, start and end odometer readings, distance, purpose, destination, and notes you choose to enter.

Fuel Miles does not currently collect support tickets, screenshots, or attachments.

When you use Fuel Miles, our hosting platform may automatically collect certain technical information, including:

• Browser and device type
• IP address
• Authentication and session information
• Basic application usage and error information, such as login events and records you create

Fuel Miles does not collect GPS or location data from your device.

We use the information collected to:

• Provide Fuel Miles functionality, including vehicle, fuel, and maintenance tracking
• Calculate fuel mileage (MPO) and statistics based on your entries
• Maintain your vehicle history and maintenance records
• Generate the CSV exports you request
• Maintain your account and authentication
• Secure and operate the service

Your vehicle, fuel, and maintenance records are associated with your account. Each user can only access their own records. Fuel Miles is designed so that one user cannot view or edit another user's data.

Authorized Fuel Miles personnel with appropriate support or administrative permissions may access your account information when necessary to provide support, in accordance with our support procedures.

Fuel Miles shares information with the service providers required to operate the application, including the hosting platform that stores your data and, when you choose Google sign-in, Google for authentication.

Fuel Miles does not sell your personal information.

Fuel Miles does not currently use third-party advertising within the application.

Your information is retained while your account remains active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service. The hosting platform may retain backups as part of its normal operations, which may take time to be overwritten.

When you delete a vehicle in Fuel Miles, the vehicle and its associated fuel logs, maintenance records, and trips are permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone.

You can delete your account from Settings. This permanently deletes your vehicles, fuel logs, maintenance records, and trips.

Due to a platform limitation, Fuel Miles cannot delete your login identity (your sign-in account) from within the app. After deleting your data, your sign-in account may still exist. To fully remove your login account, you will need to contact the platform or support.

You can export your fuel logs as a CSV file from the Fuel page, choosing a date range (1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or all history). Fuel Miles does not currently offer a full account export of all data types.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect Fuel Miles accounts and data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Fuel Miles is not intended for use by children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Fuel Miles changes. When we make material revisions, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
